low blood pressure diet

This theory is full of holes though. The body converts all foods into glucose, not just carbohydrates.

Therefore, when proponents of low carb diets eat excess protein and fat, these are converted to sugar just as if the person had eaten carbohydrates. Insulin is released just the same, and the body is told to stop burning body fat just the same.

Another problem with low carb diets is that restricting carbohydrates from the diet means restricting vitamins and minerals that the body needs to survive. Meat is dead and lifeless, and has virtually no benefit when eaten.

Fruits and vegetables however, contain properties that are necessary both for weight loss and overall health.
